Online gambling Company settles to pay U.S. $19.2 million
Canadian company Optimal Group has agreed to pay the U.S. government $19.2 million for processing payments for illegal online casino gambling internet sites, US prosecutors stated on Friday.
U.S. prosecutors said that Optimal admitted that offering casino gambling which broke the criminal laws in the U.S.
A spokes person for Optimal Group stated earlier on Friday that it would forfeit $19,182,418.82 to the U.S. government.
The company will not be prosecuted after forfeiting the money.
